Healthy Food Movies
Healthy food movies inspire us to create, share and make good eating a central part of our lives.
They can even motivate watchers to change their lives (the most famous example is likely Alice Waters, who started Chez Panisse to create a community space like the ones she witnessed in Pagnol's films).
While there are plenty of foodie films out, where eating or cooking play a leading role, not all of these count here.
And some quite sensational films (featuring cannabalism, food as a tool of abuse, and some just plain intentionally gross scenes) really don't fit the bill.
A healthy food movie meets one or more of three criteria:
* sharing food mends or strengthens relationships between characters
* characters bond through the creation of food
* making choices about food and expressing their values through those choices helps a character find its direction in life.
